Contestant Application

Sanctuary is honored to have you as a contestant  for  Mr Sanctuary Leather 2010. We hope you’re excited about competing, and we’re glad you’ll be part of he contest.  Please read this application carefully and provided all the information requested,  email this application to MistressCyan@gmail.com as soon as possible, but not later than February 12^th, 2010 . If you have any questions, or do not understand something, please feel free to ask. To compete at Mr. Sanctuary Leather, contestants must be male and 21 years of age or older as of February 20^th, 2010.

In consideration of the acceptance of my entry herewith, I hereby waive any and all claims for injury and damage to my person, property, or reputation that may arise now or in the future, from any cause whatsoever, in connection with any participation in the MR. SANCTUARY LEATHER 2010 Contest; against the producers, Sanctuary, their agents, operators, or employees, or any affiliates thereof.  I release all claims to the use of my likeness, name or names and photographs with regard to my participation in the contest.

In addition, I accept these obligations inherent in winning the title:

·         As Mr. Sanctuary Leather, I realize that I am obliged to participate in the Mr. Los Angeles Leather 2010 event as a contestant.  I understand that Sanctuary will pay all entry fees to the Mr. LA Leather contest.

·         As Mr. Sanctuary Leather, the producers will provide me with a title vest, medallion, and sash, which I will wear when appropriate at various local, national, or international leather oriented public events.  I also understand that for one calendar year from the date of my installation as Mr. Sanctuary Leather, or until the next Mr. Sanctuary Leather contest, whichever comes first, I will represent the leather community in Los Angeles at all LA area gay community events as Mr. Sanctuary Leather (i.e. LA Gay Pride 2010, LA Gay Pride Parade 2010, The 2010 Mayor’s Reception, Erotic City at LA Gay Pride, Sunset Junction Leather weekend events, LALC events, ALL feeder contests leading up to Mr. LA Leather 2010, all events scheduled for LAL Week, DomCon LA 2010, Mistress Cyan’s Charity Fundraisers for the homeless in November and December 2010,  I must make the effort to attend any leather events and fundraisers in the Southern California and LA area during my title year deemed appropriate by the producers.  I understand that I must return the sash at the end of my title year to Sanctuary.

·         As Mr. Sanctuary Leather, I understand that if for any reason I do not or cannot fulfill the obligations of the title, the 1^st runner up will be conferred with the title by the producers, and the title vest, medallion, and sash must be returned to the producers, and that I must return any gifts or prizes at the producers’ discretion.

·         I agree to furnish a bio for The Mr Sanctuary Leather web site, along with any other pertinent information that may be necessary for Sanctuary to effectively promote me as their titleholder, and assist me in my efforts to support the leather community during my title year. I release all claims to the use of my likeness, name or names and photographs with regard to my year as Mr. Sanctuary Leather.  

Mr. Sanctuary Leather contestants are required to appear at all official Mr. Sanctuary Leather 2010 events (February  12^th, and 13^th, 2010), including but not limited to, Orientation / Meet and Greet on Friday February 12^th , Preliminary Interviews, photo sessions, rehearsals, and the entire Mr. Sanctuary Leather 2010 Contest on Feb 13^th. Failure to appear as scheduled may result in disqualification. Sanctuary reserves the right to remove a Contestant from the competition at any time, for just cause.
